Bringing people together over a common love for edible gardening, sustainable living and the environment.
The Jane Street Community Garden is a unique and beautiful space independently run by a group of dedicated community members. The aim is to connect those in the heart of the city with the importance of organic food production and sustainable living practices, while also building relationships and connections with like-minded people in the local area.
Sitting adjacent Davies Park in West End, this small pocket of land grows a broad range of edible and medicinal plants, ranging from unique natives, exotic alternatives, herbs, fruits and flowers; as well as insect and butterfly-attracting species.
Working-bees are held every Thursday from 3:30pm, as well as the first Sunday of every month from 3-5pm. No gardening experience is required and absolutely everyone is welcome.
